How long until we hear back from you?
Once you fill out my contact form, you will get an automated confirmation e-mail right after, and then I will be in touch with pricing within 24 hours. If you do not get either of those, the email you entered may be wrong. Please double check that you enter the correct email when contacting me!
What do we wear?
I have an outfit guide blog post that you can look over for some outfit tips! You can also send me pictures of outfit ideas if you want me to give you my opinion on what you have picked out. If you plan to both/all be wearing white shirts and jeans, I am not your girl! Coordinate don't match!
Can we change outfits?
Yes, you can change as many times as you want. be aware that changing is part of the hour, or whatever time you book me for, and can take away from shooting time. If you do choose to have more than one outfit I would suggest choosing outfits that do not take long to get in or out of.
How many photos do we get?
I do not put a limit on how many photos you get, basically if it is good you get it in the gallery. If you would like to see an example of a finished gallery that would be similar to yours, I can send one over to you!
When do we get our photos?
For weddings and elopements, you will receive your gallery within a month and for engagement, family, maternity, or senior shoots you will get it within a week. I do send out sneak peeks either the night of or day after your shoot. For weddings/elopements I always ask if you want sneak peeks or if you want to be left alone!
How do you deliver our gallery?
I have an online gallery system that I will send to your email. You will be able to download web-sized and hi-res images, share your gallery with friends or family, and have access to an online store where you can buy prints.
What if the weather is bad?
I cannot control the weather so in a case where it is dangerous or impossible to have a successful shoot then we will reschedule with no rescheduling fee. Albuquerque in particular has random super windy days, so for couples that is up to you if you want to deal with it or not. Same goes for rain, if it is lightening then that is too dangerous to go out, but if it is just light rain it is up to you what you want to do; embrace it or reschedule.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
This should not ever be a question for someone to ask, but unfortunately sometimes it is. The answer is OF COURSE I am! It does not matter who you love, love is love my friends. I cannot wait to meet you.
Can I bring my dogs?
Yes, the answer to that is always yes! Please let me know in advance though so I can prepare for it. Also, if you pup(s) are not the most well behaved, bringing an extra person to help hold onto them when they are not in the shots is a good idea.
Do you travel?
Yes, I love to travel! I love finding new locations whether it be somewhere in New Mexico or a totally different state. I actually eloped in Sedona and cannot wait to shoot there for the first time! **hint hint***. If you are not in the Albuquerque area feel free to ask me about my travel fees.
Do you shoot by yourself?
For weddings and elopements I always have a second shooter, my husband. I do all of the editing after and behind the scenes work, but he is always there to catch other angles and moments. During portraits I will be the one directing and he will either be doing candids of the bridal party, the cocktail party, or whatever works best for the timeline on your wedding day. For any other shoot it will just be me unless my husband tags along to hold stuff.
What equipment do you use?
We have full frame Canon camera bodies and a variety of Canon and Sigma lenses that we use. We both have a dual harness to hold our cameras, so I have 2 bodies with 2 different lenses on me at all times and my husband has the third body with another lens. If anything were to happen to any of our camera bodies at your wedding, we would both still be able to have 1 camera to shoot with.
How long do we have to book ahead?
Some days or dates are more popular than others. If you are getting married on a Mon-Thurs last minute, the chances of being able to book me are more likely. For regular Fri-Sun weddings, especially in the fall, those book out much sooner. If you know your date and want to secure me as your photographer, I would suggest booking as soon as possible! Plus, we have more time to get to know each other and work together on anything you need for your wedding.
How do we reserve our date?
A 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are due to secure your date. The other 50% is due one month before your wedding date.
